Thank God it's Christmas. Today, we commiserate the birth of our Lord Jesus. All over the world, Christians are celebrating the birth of Him that brought deliverance from the devil. He delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into His kingdom. Why did Jesus come?
"She will have a son, and you will name him Jesus — because he will save his people from their sins.”
(Matthew 1:21 GNB)
He came into the world in order deliver us from our individual sins. He is Jesus, the Saviour, He set us free from the bondage of sins. Are you free from your sins? Have you taken advantage of His birth?
On the last day, this same Jesus will be the Judge of all. He will judge both great and small. Everyone that accepted His rulership over their lives and abide by His words, will reign with Him in His kingdom. Those that rejected Him here in this life, will forever be in hell with the devil: there will be regrets and gnashing of teeth. If you are hearing God today, hardened not your heart.
ACTION PLAN: Appropriate the His birth today, turn away from your sins and turn to God through Jesus.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I forsake my sins and accept Jesus as my Lord and Saviour.
