  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It began in a classroom. It was a class for air traffic controllers. It was time to go to work and he had to be there at 10 oclock. He was driving around the airport trying to find the place for air traffic controllers. He was also hungry, so he wanted to find a place to eat before going to work at ten. It was daylight. Once inside the airport he was told to wear a gurney and everytime I heard the word gurney I thought of a rabbit suit. One of those with a big round head. It was mentioned several times. I friend of his came up to speak with him in the airport. They were all calm so it appeared except that the man was eager to try and get to work by ten and he was hungry and wanted to eat before ten. They just talked about the class. He was talking to a black man.

Some said that they wouldn't walk around in that costume. He left to go get something to eat, even though it was only about an hour before ten.
