I started something a couple of weeks ago but I am not sure how it is going. I was addressing a person about gun control, trying to get them to understand my position, and as usual the conversation was going the way it always does. Angry to angrier to even angrierer..er. Then, I said something and I got crickets. The thing is I didn't want crickets. I wanted an honest answer. The same thing happened a few days later. Crickets. So, the challenge to the gun control advocate, "If you were in the congress or senate what five things would you like to see come down the aisle for a vote regarding gun control? Remember that must be legal and that they will make a difference in the violent shootings at schools? Then, what punishment should be imposed for violating each one?" Doesn't that make sense? If they want to advocate for gun control the ask what they specifically want.
