It is easy to dislike people. In fact it can become a habit to be intolerant.
"He's a pain in the neck."
"I just wish he'd..... "
"What a drama queen!"
" Such a narcissist!"
"So argumentative.."
I've done it and still do, to some extent. Bad habit to get into and hard to break. Its as if we pride ourselves on finding fault. "I can see through them, if no one else can."
I'm not saying we don't be cautious. Some people are a full-time headache. But it wouldn't hurt for us to just try and see the good in others, however challenging, now and then. Our behaviour can actually improve if others see the good in us. Just like my dog. Ever since I learnt to praise him when his behaviour was good, he's just an angel 99% of the time. I think we can apply that to us human beings, don't you?
