There is a myth that Christians should have perfect lives and if they don’t, then they must not truly be connected to God. The truth is, God wants our lives to be challenging so that we can grow in strength and wisdom. There is no substitute for hard work and there is no hard work if you are constantly blessed. We should all expect some amount of suffering in our lives and praise God for those opportunities to develop our Christian character.
