Staying in a job a long time is admirable in my view. I went to the supermarket this morning. The lady who served me has been there as long I've lived here. I told her "you've been here for at least 10 years" and she replied "actually I've been here since 1988", which makes it about 30 years.. Amazing! Incredible!
Just the patience to do a repetitive job day in day out for so long. And she still gives great customer service at around age 65. All credit to her!
Stability and loyalty don't seem to be things valued by the status quo these days.
I can understand why people value stability and courage to stick at things, even when it seems dull or even too much pressure.
Hats off to you Madam, anyway!
