Servants of sin.....

Are not many living in envying, strife and divisions which are all motivated by the covetousness of religious-sounding men? This is sowing to the flesh….being “carnal”.

1 Corinthians 3:3 KJV
(3) For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

He that sows to the flesh shall of the flesh reap “corruption”…that is, DECAY of the mortal body. Our mortal bodies…. which are the flesh and bones of Jesus…. are being stricken for our transgressions. Many are sick and weak and are dying.

Galatians 6:7-9 KJV
(7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
(8) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
(9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

The “wars and fightings” among us come from the lusts of men as we use our tongues to judge and condemn others in our envy and strife.

James 4:1-4 KJV
(1) From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
(2) Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
(3) Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

We can not be conformed to this world that lies in this kind of wickedness already. We can not partake of the envy and strife that the world is known for. If we are a “friend” of the world, then we are the enemy of God.

(4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

We use our mouths to bless God and curse other men. This should not be. We can not use the same mouth for both things. We can not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good (blessing God) AND evil (cursing men). When we use our mouths for such things as we participate in the envying, strife and divisions of religious-sounding men, then we are sinning unto our own death. The mortal body perishes and dies off the face of this earth. Out of the dust were we taken and then to the dust shall we return because of sin.

Romans 6:16-23 KJV
(16) Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

We are servants of sin when we use our mouths for such things. But our Lord is merciful as He enlightens the eyes of our understanding so that we might see our sins and depart from them. We are to obey from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered unto us….to HAVE LOVE FOR ONE ANOTHER. We are to wake up and cease from being servants of sin.

(17) But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
(18) Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
(19) I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
(20) For when ye were the servants of sin,ye were free from righteousness.

What fruit had we in those things that religious-sounding men participate in? Their ways and thoughts are destructive. We perish and die while we sit with them. The end of those things are death. When we wake up to His Truth then we are going to be ashamed that we sat there with them in their idolatrous reveling.

(21) What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
(22) But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

The wages of sin is always DEATH. This death is to our mortal bodies. We perish and die and our spirit goes back to God who gave it.

(23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The servant of sin does not abide in the “house” to the coming Age. The mortal body….the “house”….perishes from off the earth because of sin. If the Son makes us free, then we shall be free indeed.

John 8:34-37 KJV
(34) Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
(35) And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
(36) If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

We can not “kill” others with our tongues. His Word…His Saying…is to have love for one another.

(37) I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

A “murderer” has no “eternal life” abiding in them. We can not be living among those who are dying in their envying, strife and divisions which are all motivated by covetousness….the abomination of desolation.

1 John 3:14-16 KJV
(14) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
(15) Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
(16) Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

We are to take up the “stumblingblock” out of the way of His people. The stumblingblock that causes many to trip into their graves is the iniquity of covetousness which causes envy, strife and divisions. He shall heal those who are of a contrite and humble spirit towards the hearing of His knowledge.

Isaiah 57:14-21 KJV
(14) And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.
(15) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
(16) For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
(17) For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.
(18) I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
(19) I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

But the wicked shall not know peace…for they will not receive the love of the knowledge of the Truth and be saved…to be healed…body, soul and spirit. The man of sin shall reveal himself with a mouth that speaks wickedness in the face of the Truth. Their “waters” cast up mire and dirt as they will speak evil things.

(20) But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
(21) There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

They will be “everlearning” but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth as they will resist the Truth even though God will have all men be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth.

2 Timothy 3:1-9 KJV
(1) This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
(2) For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
(3) Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
(4) Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
(5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
(6) For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
(7) Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
(8) Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
(9) But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.

The servants of sin shall not abide to the coming Age. As they will seek to save their current lives, they lose them.

Luke 6:24-26 KJV
(24) But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
(25) Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
(26) Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

But blessed are those who shall come to the knowledge of the Truth....to hear Him. The poor in spirit...the poor in breath....the humble and contrite spirit...shall be healed of their diseases. A great multitude CAME OUT of all Judaea and Jerusalem. We are also to COME OUT from among those we are living in sin with.

Luke 6:17-22 KJV
(17) And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

We are "vexed with unclean spirits" when we listen and follow the covetous speakings of religious-sounding men. We are to come out from among them to hear Him and be healed.

(18) And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
(19) And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.
(20) And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
(21) Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
(22) Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
