Quaint virtues out of date
The church it seems is but for fools
Who death can scarcely wait
Yet life has come that we receive
Through Christ, He floods the earth
God’s Seed of Truth, if we believe
Can lead to second birth
Yet when Light dawns, we fail to see
Rejecting what is true
We fail to find on bended knee
What should be plain in view
True treasures are faith, kindness, love
Are righteousness and peace
Our true reward is high above
Where values never cease
