Saucy's Political Views

I know millions of people are flocking to my blog to see what my political views are Okay, not really, but maybe some are interested?

My view on politics is really simple. I vote for the person who honors God the most and seems to represent ALL of America. So it saddens me to say that this time around, I'm still undecided. I haven't seen a clear-cut strong Christian who follows God's laws first and foremost. Of course a candidate needs to represent those of both faith, non-faith and those of other faith and God has been taking more and more of a backseat in America's politics.

So what's all the hype about this Palin lady's pregnant 17-year-old daughter. Does it matter? Of course it does! Obama has come out on the record and said that families are off limits. Are they? I don't agree. I don't like the fact that this girl has become an overnight sensation and that she has probably cried herself to sleep at night thinking the whole country views her as a harlot. I don't know the girl and have no right to judge her. But who I'm after isn't the daughter...it's the mother. Family life shouldn't play a part in politics? I think it's a great indication of what kind of leader you are and your values and morals. If your family life is messed up, how can you begin to think you can run the country? It really shows me that the Palin's lack Godly influence. But I am not judging them. They could be a morally strong family and the daughter just made a mistake. Who knows other than God?

When it comes to Obama, I hear he's a muslim. I hear he's a Christian. The guy does seem to have appropriate family values in place and a strong head on his shoulders, but the dude just appeared out of nowhere. A friend and I talked briefly about the possibility of Obama being the anti-Christ Seriously. But he didn't fit all the "qualifications". We still think it's Arnold Swartzenegger (sp?) . He's a man of European decent who has dominated everything he's ever attempted (body-building, movies and now politics). He got elected despite a lack of morals and experience. But with Obama, I am still unsure. I think I like the guy, but not enough to elect him. We know nothing about him. Not his voting record, where he stands on important issues, nothing. We'll just have to take him at his word and not experience. I don't like that. I think before a man is elected to office, he needs to prove (at least to me) where he stands on key issues. Proof...not just talk. Because what else do politicians do other than talk smack and lie?

What do I think about McCain? He's too impulsive. He selected Palin after only meeting her a few times. Now I think she will hurt his campaign (even though recent polls have him in the lead). All anyone talks about is him being a war hero and all that. I'm proud of him for that, but that doesn't make him ready to lead the strongest army in the world.

I don't know. Can someone convince me? Am I wrong? Talk to me faithful readers!
