Reflection

This is a reflection I wrote on June 3, 2011 in a message to a friend.

O Holy Spirit, Sweet Lord, when You inflame me to begin contemplating what You do in my life, there's nothing to stop me from outpouring everything! Praise You Sweet Fire of Love. I adore You.

That glow will always be there as long as I belong to my Jesus - which is Forever!

It has been an interesting month. I have been to many Confessions trying to change some things about my life to follow Him more truly. I see it is an ongoing struggle. But I'm happy! I'm happy to be living in Him and blessed to be surrounded every day by people who love me and, more importantly, love and adore Him.

Our Lord Jesus is showing me new things constantly. He has given me a spiritual craving for Himself in the Eucharist. I am also learning about how to love more deeply and to put aside anger and old habits. I am starting to love praying for others even more than I used to. This morning I thought about the Holy Spirit and letting Him speak through me, be the voice of my prayers, and live through me. And last night I felt love for the Father (I mean I always do, because of course there's one God, but usually I relate to the Son. I'm happy to learn more about the fullness of the Holy Trinity!).

Everything is unfolding smoothly for me, thank Jesus, because He does all things sweetly and lovingly. The only thing I am confused about is my vocation in the future but if I learn to put myself aside and trust more fully in His will, He will lead me into His beautiful plan.

There is always more to love and adore about Jesus, more to praise Him for. There are always more stages of depth of love for Him and trust in Him. I am altogether blessed by Him who is Altogether Lovely.
