Seems like i am always attracted to the calm and serenity of being around water. This is my favorite trail. About 90% of it is in the shade, which makes it nice on hot days like today. I went about 5 miles. I ran for the first 27 minutes and then ran/walked the rest. I have made very slow progress the last month in preparing for a 5k on July 3. I am going to have to run the first two miles and then run/walk the last mile. I haven't yet been able to run three miles. On the treadmill I can go five miles, but outside only 2.5 due to hills, wind and other things.
This is my calm and peaceful place. I love to come here and take pictures. I don't think I have ever taken a poor picture here. Lots of bikers and walkers and runners out today. The parking lot was full when i arrived around 9 am.
