quantum activity in the brain and how it might relate to consciousness

recently I heard that apparently the brain has things in it that function in quantum states which are disrupted by anesthesia. anesthesia makes a person unconscious and yet the brain still registers as functioning and doing things. but if i can recall correctly anesthesia causes the brains quantum activity to stop and thus they go unconscious. it might be worth looking into how anesthesia works because last time I looked into it people kind of did not know how it worked, they just knew it does what it does. but apparently since then they did experiments and found out how it works but I dunno how much weight it holds as i'm not an expert.

also recently I read an article which speaks of people discovering a 4th state of water which has to do with water being in a certain condition which makes it act in a more "quantum" manner. this could maybe help people to understand how the brain might also get into such quantum states under the right conditions.

so basically with science people can probe and try to see if the quantum information level has anything to do with another world which interacts with the one we commonly experience. and what is more, the brain might have quantum activity which might help to explain consciousness on a deeper level.
