Okay, so the youth pastor from my church decided to combine the college-age class and the high schoolers together for a Purity series. I think it is the best idea ever. We college-age kids are not so far beyond teenage thinking that we couldn't use a lesson and way to stay pure in our thoughts, actions, and love for God. Sunday morning lessons are w/the classes combined and Wednesday night bible study will separate the age groups to speak more personally about the topic(s) discussed on Sundays.
This last Sunday (yesterday) we talked about having nothing to hide. Being pure is being holy, and being holy is being pure. When people see us or speak to us they should know and understand right away that we are Christians and that we are living our lives for God. We should not be partaking in the same activities that our unsaved friends are. We shouldn't detach ourselves from the, but we should have different standards by which we live our lives.
