reading frequently on here people are afraid they have Blasphemed the Holy Spirit. At times i have 'felt' this.
I once heard someone say if you are thinking you had commited this sin, you have not because if you had you would not even be thinking about it.
I believe what happens is we sin Hebrews 3:13 and our hearts become hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
We need to repent and forsake our sins
Proverbs 28:13
He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
Psalm 32 says
3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
