Today I had a difficult day. I was plagued by painful thoughts of torture and it hurt my heart that others suffer so deeply. I prayed today that the Lord would comfort the torture victims and soothe their heart. I prayed that the Lord would comfort them in their suffering and take then to be with Him in Heaven. I prayed that the Lord would speak to them and let them know He loves them very much and they are very beautiful. I would like the Lord to speak to the torturers and let them know that He is the Prince of Peace and wants to give their soul peace.
