Who’d live a lie, will God oppose
Will be the devil’s tool
The Lord is truth from head to toes
And God is no one’s fool
Yet still the devil plants his seed
Within whom God will save
In darkness grows his evil weed
That pulls us to the grave
Clad a la mode in Sunday best
With bible fat and sleek
Some think from God a lie finds rest
Within His house each week
For even there is poison spread
Deception’s all too near
What foolishness pollutes the head?
What robs of Godly fear?
Though camouflaged in Satan’s shroud
Behind their church disguise
Liars to God are ever loud
And seen through righteous eyes
Beware you branches of The Vine
Who lie to Jesus’ face
Brazened partaking bread and wine
Could lose in Christ your place
No lie can dwell on Hallowed ground
Considerable or slight
In hell the teller could be found
When Truth sends forth His Light
Eternally they’ll rue their shame
Constant their bed of thorns
Perpetual burns damnation’s flame
