Are you in a monogamous relationship with God? Not distracted by other gods as you walk down the street with Him? Tempted to have an affair with sex, drugs or various forms of self-worship?
Remember God is jealous. Very jealous. He doesn't like being ignored. And anyway He is keeping His part of the deal. Remember the deal you signed up for? He gives you love, security and eternal happiness. In return you give Him yourself. You. Not "lip-service" you. But "heart" you. So are you for Him or against Him? He wants to know. If you've screwed up, that's OK. He's waiting for you to say "sorry". But not "fake sorry". he wants "sincere sorry". Repentance. Real repentance. Then He will welcome you back with open arms. He loves you after all. And my advice is, don't take that love for granted. Wake up and appreciate it!
