Though God’s dealing with all mankind
Few only seek love’s grace
Less and less with doubtful mind
Will hear and see His face
Man’s ears are mostly closed now
Like moles, man’s staring eyes
Man on life’s field’s a broken plough
Rusting until he dies
Ignorant of living Oil needed
Sowing few precious seed
Never watered, never weeded
Guided by selfish greed
Few listen, few ever care to
Bother trying to see
Whatever Heaven planned to do
Few only will agree
Fewer and fewer now rally
Shameful, fearing light
Preferring hells shady alley
From break of morn till night
I know, because I too! was one
With oil from an empty sieve
Until was found my Father’s Son
Had died that I may live
Calling, blaring on bended knee
From deep, I know not where
Till Jesus came to set me free
Granting me Heaven’s share
Life’s field’s now tended every day
Devils lay no more claim
Who’ll walk with Jesus all the way?
Just call His almighty name.....
