Been a difficult few days.
i turned this morning to Isaiah 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
I have read this verse many, many times but what stood out was the opening of prison to those who are bound.
The lexicon uses another word for prison and this is dungeon.
A dungeon is a strong, closed dark prison, which is a place of confinement and the good news that Jesus has come to heal our broken hearts and He is the only One who can open the prison door and bring us to the place of freedom.
