Intercession
By separating yourself to the Lord with worshipping and praising, intercession can become effective, a wellspring ( “He that believes on me from his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water” ) of the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise purges doubt, and soon those springs of living water flow from your innermost being. The Lord has your attention you have His, and bingo . There’s the power to intercede for whoever you want to and to pour out your heart to God for them . You just keep the medley of those old favorite personal songs between you and the Lord going. The next person in line you get to pray for will receive the benefit of your audience with the Lord, by a fervent effectual prayer that avails much in power and Glory to God because your ministry to them flows from your relationship with Him and ministry to Him. After the psalm or hymn you are singing, you’ll think of someone else to bless.
