I don't think I'll ever be 'Christian' as HuntingMan defines the term, but I'll continue to be charitable and open-minded in my doubts. Hopefully to arrive at a positive outcome.
As a result, CF could be run slightly differently in my opinion. I'm not the
boss though, but I would just advise
a few necessary additions too these
forums and how they are are being handled.
I will take a historic account before the
face value of figurative morality, or literally strange encounters with God and/or the prophets.
I would like to embrace a better understanding of the tribal warfare and general physics between God and his mortal creations.
So, I will have many Hypothesis and estimations to get a better awareness.
If I ask you a question, it's not a personal attack. If you don't have an answer, I will not discredit your lacking capability to provide it. Instead we could openly share our thoughts and feelings to arrive at some sort of unbiased answer [doesn't have to be 'the truth', just a simple fact gathered together from previous interactive details].
If I present a possibility that's not found in the scriptures, I'm not doing it to offend.
example: the angels are sons of 'god', this 'god' also has demons as his sons. Does this make the 'god' a demonic king, angelic warrior, or a hybrid class of some sort like a 'super human' who has manipulated it's form outside of our universe?. Possible, I'm not doing it to make God look evil or sinful.
Pure possibility, I never met him physically
so I have a right to assume how variously or unexpectedly he will manifest himself too or through us.
An agreement of condemnation, shows a sadistic nature in a human. I'm not attacking him, I'm siding with the unknown God, like an Agnostic would in trying to make an Atheist understand he's not 'weak' in being a not so complete 'non-believer'.
I find that if God did actually speak through the writer's of the bible, his messages were misunderstood and the will of the writer took over God himself like 'Satan'. Thus, Satan rules your churches, your choirs, and your representatives. Until God can be heard once more by the naturalist, there should be no arguing for or against the 'faith' placed inside you.
I've presented acceptable choices as an entire species, not just a select group of religious peoples practically dominating the entire American system.
We can take your reactions too my presented possibilities, and questions elsewhere if you wish. I am not going to close my capability to think though, because someone says that God said something when I can't even experience what they speak of.
It's like telling a numb body to kick a ball, they must question if the ball can handle
the impact and why they are playing some temporary 'sport'. I could kick around the ball, constantly, and never feel it come back by another friendly member of the team. what must I do when your against me?
This is our problem, we can spend time off the field and help me recover or you can continue to beat me with the ball until I
feel it, which is a form of abusive dogma.
I just thought my readers should know this if we meet in the Theology Forum(s).
