I've noticed people tend to learn different things at different times from similar situations. An example is reading the Bible. The same person or different people can read the same passage and take something different from it. Many well meaning people think that this means one person is right and the rest are wrong but that is not true. What is more accurate is there are many perspectives of the same truth. Its like looking at a house from different angles and perspectives. The house is scripture and the perspective is the circumstances and preconceptions of the person looking at it.
