I loved my boss. he was like a big brother figure. He couldn't understand why I liked him so much. I forgave him all his flaws. I was blind to them. His larger than life personality hypnotised me. I drank with him more than worked with him. I know he didn't think much of my work ethic. In fact I heard later he complained about my poor work performance. Still he was no saint. A fascinating guy , I wonder if he is still alive. I suspect not, by the amount he drank.
