So, last night was Civil Air Patrol's weekly meetings. It went pretty well, I believe I dern fool out of myself trying to teach drill (sorry.)
My assistant Element leader made a fool out of himself reporting under the name of one of the other cadets...that was way too funny. We were all howling with laughter and we wee at attention -breaking rules...shame on me.
After the meeting was over me and some friends went and got ice-cream. Which was very yummy -of course...not much else has been going on around my place....
Thursday me and the same friends are going up to my grandparents' house with the rest of my family and theirs to swim in my grandparents' Lake. Wooo -I'm dead set on pushing them all in. Lol.
My duckling Catherine slept inside again last night because her Momma hasn't been sitting on her during the night -and it's been getting fairly cold out with the wind blowing down the ridge and all.... Cathy didn't sleep worth a penny last night either, I was up...every 30 min's, I guess. Then I got up at 0500 hundred to take care of the other critters. I'm beat.
