Give Way To Christ.....

So others answer Heaven’s call
Christ’s church must comprehend
Our airs of grace has need to fall
And prideful knees must bend

We all have failed and fallen short
We all have need of love
If not for Jesus’ true report
We’d find no place above

We need to check the way we speak
The tongue of ancient days
So not to hinder those who seek
The secrets of God’s ways

Holier than thou too should go
Humility must reign
If righteous seed we seek to sow
That grows to birth again

If Jesus’ church will see God’s face
The bride must truly change
We need to welcome every race
Beholding none as strange

No gender gap, no colour bar
No culture seen as odd
Welcome each person as they are
They’ll all belong to God

Allow God’s Spirit have His Way
It’s He; who’ll change the heart
It’s He who teaches what to say
That makes the darkness part

Too many speak where tongues should rest
Too many webs are spun
If we the bride would now be blessed
Make room for Christ God’s Son.....
