I’d cheat and steal for daily bread
The devil was my choice
Contently to lie within his bed
Until I heard Your voice

You spoke in visions to my mind
I saw the devil’s lies
My ravelled life I saw unwind
Before my very eyes

By grace my heart beheld the sight
My soul The Truth could see
To darkness Lord You left Your Light
To save a wretch like me

I see Your throne and cattle stall
The place You chose Your birth
I see Your love and those who fall
And why You came to earth

I see the cross I feel the pain
I see the veil in two
I see the blood that washed my stain
And brought me birth anew

I’ve witnessed Lord Your awesome death
How love took all my sin
My heart can feel Your final breath
That burns now deep within

Throughout my God your eyes saw me
You saw my wayward heart
You saw the day you’d set me free
And give a brand new start

You are my Lord my precious King
The reason why I live
Allow this child Your praise to sing
Through all the days You give
