All but the few small children and Solima and Jippera watching them took part in finding large stones still that they could carry back to the settlement right by where the wall would be set up, and they went farther for those as the large stones right by the settlement had been taken and put to use for all they had been building. This took much of the day. After a midday break where all were refreshing themselves, with more berries and grain, with water too, Jecharon, Deseradar, Argon, and Rigoted were setting up gathered stones along a line for the encircling wall that would be built, and the others who had gathered still did so, until later in the day. Stones then went all the way around the area they meant to enclose, and in one small portion they had set more stones above that row of what would be the lowest layer.
