Clapping Against Each Other

Thursday, November 20, 2008, 3:12 a.m. – The Lord gave me A VISION:

I saw Hillary Clinton followed by a Saudi Prince. Then, I saw a whale in the water with its tail raised up in the air and its fin was flapping. Then the fin split in half and the two halves were clapping against each other.

I saw Arab-looking people dressed in white. Ronald Reagan’s face faded in and out. The people in that country seemed to be enjoying some kind of celebration.

Following that, I saw two different actors who are Chinese-American. END

Map of Saudi Arabia - http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl. Saudi Arabia looks like a whale in the water and its fin could be Yemen and Oman or it could be Oman and United Arab Emirates and/or this could be about the Somali pirates who hijacked the Saudi-owned super-tanker Sirius Star who today demanded $25 million in ransom and set a 10-day deadline.

Quote from news article: “Yesterday Prince Saud al-Faisal, Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister, confirmed that the ship’s owners were in talks with the pirates, but the company that operates the Sirius Star has remained tight-lipped about the claims of negotiations.” http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/africa/article5196008.ece

“BEIRUT, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Somali pirates preying on shipping in the Gulf of Aden have struck most often off the coast of Yemen, an unstable, impoverished Arab state that has few resources to tackle the maritime scourge…” http://africa.reuters.com/wire/news/usnLK724435.html

Another possibility for “the fin” is the division of the state of Israel from the Arab State that the UN voted on November 29, 1947 (61 yrs ago) - http://israpundit.com/archives/2004/11/november_29_194_1.php. The two sides of that “fin” are definitely “clapping against each other.”

I found this article concerning the relationship between Ronald Reagan and Saudi Arabia - http://www.saudi-us-relations.org/newsletter2004/saudi-relations-interest-06-11.html

The Chinese-American connection will be dealt with in The Shooter.

Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Haggai 1:

A Call to Build the House of the LORD
1 In the second year of King Darius, on the first day of the sixth month, the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai to Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest:
2 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD's house to be built.' "

3 Then the word of the LORD came through the prophet Haggai: 4 "Is it a time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?"

5 Now this is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 6 You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it."

7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored," says the LORD. 9 "You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?" declares the LORD Almighty. "Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house. 10 Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. 11 I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and on the labor of your hands."

12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the whole remnant of the people obeyed the voice of the LORD their God and the message of the prophet Haggai, because the LORD their God had sent him. And the people feared the LORD.

13 Then Haggai, the LORD's messenger, gave this message of the LORD to the people: "I am with you," declares the LORD. 14 So the LORD stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and the spirit of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and the spirit of the whole remnant of the people. They came and began to work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God, 15 on the twenty-fourth day of the sixth month in the second year of King Darius.

My Understanding: First of all, I don’t understand all that is going on in the world with all the politics and the lies and deceit and the plans of man, but God does, and he is giving me just a glimpse of what he sees.

Secondly, I don’t believe the Lord (today’s application of this scripture) is concerned about physical buildings any more. When he talks now about his “temple,” he is referring to the body of Jesus Christ, i.e. the church. We are now the temple of the Lord; the place of his dwelling. The scriptures teach us in the NT that God no longer dwells in buildings built by human hands. He dwells in the hearts of men and women who have chosen to make him the Lord and Savior of their lives.

Israel is no longer just the nation of Israel. The Lord divorced the nation of Israel when she rejected His Son, but he is going to bring her back to him in the last days and she will be restored as a people of God. The Bible teaches us that the Lord tore down the barrier between Israel and Gentile believers in Christ and he made the two one. The Bible teaches that you are not an Israelite because you were born an Israelite, but a true Israelite is one that is by faith in Jesus Christ, so therefore the church is also “Israel.”

So, when the Lord says “these people,” he is not merely referring to the Jews who have rejected him as their Messiah, but he is speaking of those within the church who have rejected Him as their Lord. So, that is why he is not calling them “his people,” because to be “his people” we have to be followers of God and not followers of man or followers of the flesh, etc. He makes the distinction many times over.

So, this is speaking to all people who think they have a relationship with the Almighty God. He is saying it is time to “rebuild” the “temple” of God. This means revival!!! The “temple” is in “ruins” because God’s people have forgotten Him; they have gone their own ways; they have become worshipers of the flesh, of greed, of idols, etc. instead of becoming worshipers of Almighty God. He is saying that we care more about our physical houses – could be our jobs, hobbies, ministries, bodies, houses, entertainment, comfort and/or any kind of earthly possessions that we give more care to than we give to our relationship with Jesus Christ. This is so sad!

So, he is calling us to give careful thought to our ways and to “rebuild” the house of God, i.e. get on our knees in humility and repentance, turn from our wicked ways and to follow Him with all our hearts, soul, mind, body, strength, etc. Giving careful thought to our ways involves reexamination of our lives to see what our priorities are and how we spend our time, money, energies, etc. and what we take into our minds the most and what we give out of our minds, hearts, words, etc. We need REVIVAL!

But, the people of God are ignoring him; they are ignoring his pleas to repent and to turn from their wicked ways and to turn back to him, so he is going to bring upon us great suffering. He says that what we bring home he will blow away because his “house”, i.e. the church, lies in ruins while we are busy with our own houses, and that includes church buildings, programs, marketing, money spent on attracting people to our buildings and programs, etc. Those are not the things God cares about.

The result of God’s judgment on us will be that the people will fear the Lord. The Lord will stir up His Spirit in people and they will come and will begin to work on the house of the Lord Almighty, their God.
