Isn’t it funny how we are afraid of things? I mean some are afraid of the dark, others drowning, dying there are a whole host of things that we fear. In Bible times if an angel of the Lord came to you, the first thing you would is to fall on your face as if you were dead and tremble in fear. I was watching touched by an angel tonight having together time with my wife and our dog Lily. There was a young man who was somewhat mentally challenged and very afraid of the dark. But Monica told when it is the darkest we need only to look to the sky and there our light will be.
In many way’s I think I have never heard a more true statement, in today’s world there are a lot of things people are afraid of losing their job, bills, children, health issues and the list goes on and on and on. But if was like Monica said when it is darkest look to the sky there our light will always be, it is completely a heart matter. I mean if we allow our minds to control our thought we will imagine all kinds of things, we will become our own worst enemies.
God has never promised that we will get everything we ask for, but he did promise that when we were in a place where there was no way out, over, under, or around he would be there to take our hands and walk us through the darkest of times. That he will never leave us nor forsake us. We will never be able to understand the Mind of God. But it is a comfort to know He is always there to listen, to love us, comfort us, and understand our pain.
