Disregarding my Father’s name
Denying Christ His Son
How long I lived in sin and shame
How long the devil won

The Truth was there to know to learn
To change my wayward mind
Am I a fool that still would turn?
The treadmill of the blind

Are You there Lord, are You there?
Hear me as I cry
Craving a word that You would share
From glory’s throne on high

Hear my knocking at Your door
Please spare me from Your wrath
My eyes were blind but now no more
I’ve seen my foolish path

I’ve seen the devil’s cunning guise
I’ve seen his crafty snares
The facts have opened wide my eyes
And shown me Heaven cares

I bless the day I found my Lord
I praise Your Son who died
Who rose to be man’s Shield and Sword
That life be multiplied

I’m here that now Your will be done
I’m here because You care
Because of Christ, Your Lamb, Your Son
And all He has to share

Lord once again I’m calling You
Upon my knees I pray
Allow me join Your faithful few
Through Jesus’ blood today.....
