The entire world is divided up between the fallen spiritual elohim (sons of God) who govern by spirit over the people of their respective territories. God laid claim to the Hebrew people as His own and even took territory away from the elohim to give His own a promised land, but even they would turn to fallen ways. God ups the game with Jesus, a new physical son of God who did not succumb to fallen ways, whom the elohim thought they could destroy, but could not. As previously mentioned, their ace up their sleeve, that being death, was defeated.
Hence their power over us removed, we have a choice whether to follow the kingdoms of man and the elohim and their will, or the Kingdom of God and His will. Simply following the political activities of man or even turning on the tv, shows that the majority including Christians still follow the ways of the world that is living in the spirit of the fallen elohim. Jesus was right when He said the only gospel was the Gospel of the Kingdom, for He established it as being apart from the other kingdoms in earth and as a true chance for all to be born again away from the kingdoms of man and elohim. Like He was spirit made flesh, we could now become flesh made spirit. Quite simple and an easy choice even though there will be repercussions in the world of man and elohim we live in, where even religion is made complicated in order to confuse. Men argue rather than simply proclaim the good news that we have an option. It was all Jesus taught, yet the rich, the powerful, and the religious 'intellects' did not flock to Him. It was the slaves, servants and women who were oppressed, not the oppressors, that followed His lead. The same applies today. The rest of us seem to think we have too much to lose of what this world has to offer if we comply, the second ace up the sleeve of the fallen elohim.
