A Prayer For Restful Sleep

LET US PRAY​

Heavenly Father, How beautiful is your name.
Bless us tonight and grant us a restful night’s sleep.
Forgive us for the things we did today that did not honor you.
Thank you for loving us so much
and that you know our hearts through and through.
We need your help every day,
and we thank you for the strength you give
and for helping us know, that with you,
even the difficult things are possible.
Bless our family and our home,
and those of our brothers and sisters in Christ,
and keep us safe through the night.
May you guard us and watch over us,
just like you promised.
Thank you for hearing our prayers,
for we are your sheep, and you are our Good Shepherd—
who brings us comfort when we are tired and weary.
Thank you for those times when you hear our groanings,
which cannot be uttered,
yet they are often the prayers which cannot be refused.
Thank you LORD for the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells within us.
May God's will, not ours, be done, forever and again. In Jesus name. Amen.
