  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

A bit about what I have been up to

I can not beleive how long it has been since I have been on here, shame but I must say the last twelve months have not been good so many ups and downs and now I am back and amoung friends and want to just be at peace and sit with my God,..
I have been on face book a lot, started a group up there called St John Vianney prayer group for priests, it is doing well, but my spiritual director has asked me to have a few months off for a break..
which I have done..
I have been going to ww but stopped, as I wasnt happy with the leader, no support, and when I did stop back a few month ago and did go back becaue i had been sick she turned to me and said are you back for good this time, insteed of saying welcome back it s good to have you back
people some times can be so cruel in how they speak to you.
well enough from me for now but I am back and looking forward to cathing up with friends xx
