Over time the race baiters & poverty pimps have constructed a narrative that all cops are racist and no black person is ever going to be fairly treated by one. This is of course another carefully crafted lie of the left which, as you point out, if challenged immediately results in the charge of racism.

You forgot to mention parasites and welfare queens driving Cadillacs.

AMEN!!!!

So many people are basing their posts on straight up lies it doesn't even seem worth responding. The fact is, what Martin did was an unprovoked felonious assault. Even if Zimmerman was following him, that is NOT grounds to sucker punch the man and try to beat him to death. Martin acted like a wild animal, and Zimmerman acted in self defense. End of story. The only way race played a factor was the lying race baiters in the media trying to make it into a race crime, which it never was, and who stirred public opinion be deliberately showing Martin as a 12 year old child.

The fact is, if someone attacked me like Zimmerman was attacked, they'd be where Martin is. People have the right to not be attacked by wild animals or people who act like them.

If Martin had simply gone inside instead of doubling back to attack a man who was only doing his job and watching out for his neighbors, nothing would have happened to him. He attacked an armed man. He paid for his criminal act.

Awesome! Someone that agrees wholeheartedly with Todd Kincannon when he Tweeted that Trayvon was "a dangerous thug who needed to be put down like a rabid dog".

why is this still being discussed...especially in a new thread...

does it matter if trayvon deserved the shot or not? he attacked zimmerman, broke his nose and threw him down the concrete floor....and then proceeded to do what he did...

well, i suppose trayvon did get what was coming at him the moment he double downed on his attack.

If you published this in something like the New York Times, and it was said by someone with the even a tiny bit of credibility, then we would have repeal of SYG within a couple of months, if not sooner.

So keep it up. You are doing more for civil rights and more to end this new era of Jim Crow, that people like Sharpton, et al. are drawing our attention to, than any liberal on here could ever do to help.

That is because I wasn't thinking of any such thing. The term "race baiters and poverty pimps" refer to guys like this:

th

But if the image of black people in Cadillacs bothers you, well, sorry to hear that.

Apparently you don't know how juries work. Half the jury thought he was guilty, initially. But in AMERICA, one can believe someone is probably a killer, but that the evidence doesn't overcome the reasonable doubt requirement.

And that's a good thing.

I am sorry you don't know how juries work. But this forum is not the ideal place to learn this kind of basic civics knowledge
.
We know how this jury worked; in accordance with the instructions of the court, and a proper verdict was reached. If this jury had not been sequestered they all might have found Zimmerman guilty of murder 2 based on the emotion and sentiment of an outraged and vocal segment of the public. In other words he would have been turned over to a mob and lynched. The jury system worked, and justice prevailed.

He had a right to stand his ground.

He had several minutes to pick the ground he wanted to stand. Unfortunately for him he wanted the ground that was already taken.

You can't miss something that didn't happen.

He had a right to stand his ground.

There's this whole little nitpicky thing about SYG - it doesn't mention anywhere that a person can leave, get almost home, and THEN decide he's gonna bust some white crackers heiney.

And we have that from his girlfriend. She really isn't doing him any favors by doing more interviews.

I didn't know you were capable of channeling dead people. Is there a seance class for that? Or did you come by this gift some other way?

You cannot imagine things to be true and introduce them in a trial as if facts.

So even though you might believe you can actually read Trayvon’s long dead mind, it has no place in a discussion about this case.

The friend of Martin said nothing that lends weight to you argument. And the friend does not know what Trayvon was thinking either.

Trayvon was essentially in his backyard. And Zimmerman, who was not on a route to his home—or anywhere else he belonged, followed Trayvon to his backyard.

You have that completely backwards. He lived in the neighborhood, and was a Neighborhood Watch member of said neighborhood. He also wasn't cutting through yards, or trespassing. He had every right to be where he was.

If Trayvon would have called the police and requested that they remove Zimmerman from where he was because he's trespassing, would they have done so?

If the answer is no, then, it's not his back yard.

Followed him to his backyard? Please produce the evidence that he followed him to his backyard.

According to the testimony at trial, Martin was once very close to where he was staying and had a change of heart about going home.

The back porch of Trayvon was visible from the sight where Trayvon’s dead body lied. But that same spot was not on the way to Zimmerman house, or his truck. And it simply requires suspension of reason to think GZ was there to find out the name of the street he actually lived on. But that is what he has managed to convince fools he was doing.

Trayvon had no obligation to retreat from a stalker. He would be a fool to cower inside while a stalker, who would then knows where he lives, awaits outside.

You really need to get your facts straight.

Look at the map of the neighborhood and where the place was Martin was staying at compared to where the confrontation started at the T and where they ended up. Zimmerman stated he walked up the sidewalk to get an address so police could meet him and no he never claimed he was going home, because he was waiting for the police to arrive.

The road of my house is visible from my office window.

I'll set up barricades and charge people to pass through, because it's practically my front yard. How well does that go over?

It's a public thoroughfare. Zimmerman has as much right to use it as Martin.
