Personally my list would include;
- Soap and Skin: Marche Funèbre
Because it's such a hauntingly beautiful song. - Birdeatsbaby: The Trouble
I adore the fact they don't rely on guitars to provide the instrumental backdrop, the instruments don't fade into the background and mesh beautifully with the vocals. That's my opinion anyhoot. - Natalie Merchant: Ophelia
The vocals are beautiful, starting off quite soft and rising up half way through to match the song journey. - Animal Alpha: Most Wanted Cowboy
A bit of a change from the previous choices, a lot thrashier and shoutier. - Boney M: Rasputin
It's such an upbeat song, full of inaccuracies but one of the only "cheese" type songs that I could listen to on repeat. - Radka Toneff: The Moon is a Harsh Mistress
She had such a wonderful voice and I believe this song suited her beautifully. - Big Red Button: Let The Old Ways Die
It's been a favourite of mine for a while now, I adore how she sings the lyrics and it has the basic beat that always gets me interested in a song. - Mumford and Sons: Little Lion Man
I just love the song.
