Are You in Your Place of Blessing?
They attend church, sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. They read and study scripture, sometimes every day. They pray and they fast. They serve as ushers, deacons, and sing in the choir.
They do all these things believing they are blessing God, but what God is interested in is their motivation. Why do they do these things? Is it out of perceived obligation or fear of the almighty? Or, is it out of love?
You can do all these things, but if your motivation Is not love, deep love in your hearts, it will not impress or bless God.
If you want to find your place of blessing, love has to be your top priority. It absolutely has to be your obsession.
Love is not talking or thinking about it and waiting for it to happen. Love is talking about it, thinking about it, FEELING it, and following it up with manifested action into kindness.
Here is a major problem preventing that from happening for some people: Deep set, sometime hidden, anger and states of unforgivness. This will block your deep-set love.
Forgiveness is an issue that also needs more that just saying and thinking it. You can say you forgive someone, but just saying it leaves deep set, hidden anger. Forgiveness has to be on a spiritual level if it is to wipe the slate clean. You have to feel it and accept it in your soul, and that will remove the anger.
Once you have removed all sources of anger, you can release all the God-given love in your soul. You will then be living a life of kindness with a love-filled heart.
THAT is your place of blessing! Your place of blessing is when God can release all the blessings he has for you on this Earth. It is when He knows that your blessing will not rule you. It is when he knows that your blessing will not turn you away from Him. It is when He knows that your blessing will make you a blessing to many.
People – put all your selves into loving God and others. It is the most important thing you can do. I know you have distractions. I know you have problems, obligations, challenges, responsibilities and turmoil. BUT if you can put all your trust in God and put everything into walking in love, God will take care of all your problems. The blessings God has for you are beyond imagination. Reach out for them while blessing Him and all mankind.
You want good health? – God has perfect health for you. You want financial stability? – God has financial wealth for you. You want spiritual gifts? – God wants you to walk in his power as Elijah did. Your blessings include your family and close friends.
LOVE IS ABSOLUTELY, WITHOUT DOUBT, EVERYTHING! Find your place of blessing.
