Will you still have love?

People will disappoint you.
People will offend you.
People will sin against you.
People will hurt you badly.
People will betray you.


At the end of the day, will you still show your love to them? Can you sacrifice your pride and ego for the sake of forgiveness? Will you still love them?

This reminds me of a poem Mother Teresa wrote:

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see in the final analysis. it is between you and God;
It was never between you and them anyway.

forgiveness and love, as simple as it may appear, are difficult lessons to learn after living a long life of sin.

I may not feel it. I may need a break. But I can muddle through the actions, such as prayer or whatever.

Sometimes just doing things regardless of feeling is what opens the gate.

I pray regularly that the Lord gives me unconditional love in my heart... Believe me, I cannot do it by myself... some people are really mean and unfair out there!

holyorders and secretof fatima, those are both good! I will try and remember to focus on them daily. Sometimes it can be hard to achieve, but still good reminders of showing love and mercy in times that are difficult to show it.
