It was posted on facebook. I told her she better tell her it makes her look like a bull (something) but my wife said no she wouldn't post that. So I said give me the computer and I'll post it, and she said no. Do people really want the truth? Should we give it to them?
The first thing I would have told you is that if you wanted so much to be so rude and hurtful you would have to use your OWN facebook account to do it.

If she posts a picture of a hairstyle she is considering, it might be appropriate to say it looks like a bull (something).

If she already has the haircut, then you compliment it or say nothing at all.

If she posted it to your wall, to solicit your opinion specifically, then you say something truthful and nonjudgmental. Like, "It really frames your face," or "I really notice the highlights now," or "It gives your hair a lot of body/volume/whatever." No mention of whether you liked it or not.
