Hard as it is to believe, the greatest hitter of our generation and maybe all-time remains unemployed with five weeks to go before Opening Day. Or is it so hard to believe?
Barry Bonds remains at home in Beverly Hills, Calif., patiently waiting for the phone to ring. Greatest hitter all time: Don't think so. Mantle, Ruth, Williams, Mays, Aaron, Cobb, etc...the list goes on of people who have hit better than Bonds. Bonds isn't being hired because he's too much of a media nightmare for teams and he's washed up. He should've retired 3 seasons ago, but he wanted to stay around and break the home run record. When Hank broke Babe's record, he was still productive while Bonds barely gets by.

Bonds is a jerk who wouldn't even rank on the Top 20 list of greatest hitters. The SF Giants were relieved he finally broke the record so they could jettison him.
