Why does it seem like there are way more Woman in churches than Men?

I don't know if its because women tend to be more submissive or what, but for most of my life its been like this outside of this one church that's more male dominant. Maybe its not like that for churches in where you guys are?

The church I attend has more women because it's an older church and the men have passed away.
