Apocalypto..

I now really admire Mel Gibson. What pacing and visual images...
I admire his message as well. (Christianity the hope and judgement on that institutionalised barbarism) - though he's got stick.

Funny really - I didn't like Braveheart for its unhistorical elements (he's anti-English, isn't he) but I forgive Apocalypto...

TROPIC THUNDER. Stupid. Not funny. Couldn't finish it.

MAX PAYNE. Couldn't get through it... not very good at all.

IGOR. Not bad. Nothing special.

CITY OF EMBER. Not bad. I wasn't expecting much, though, so I wouldn't have been disappointed anyway.

PINEAPPLE EXPRESS. It is too bad Rogen and Apatow can't write a script that doesn't incorporate a foul word into every sentence. Some of their movies would be pretty good if they weren't so abrasive.

VALKYRIE. Better than I expected.
