The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I think y'all would like this band. Don't worry, their music isn't always this sad but it started playing on a playlist I have on my iPod.
Kate Bush - Hello Earth. I recommend listening to the whole portion, it's all basically one song, one trip. The album is "Hounds of Love", but the latter part of the album is called "the ninth wave", of which this song belongs to. I remember having a really strong and weird experience once while listening to this - I believe I experienced God a little, for what little He let me experience. I have never felt such comfort and love. It was night, and I was working, I was in fact driving when I listened to this. I had to park the car and cry. I cried the best cry I have ever cried. I had to tell all of my loved ones how much they mean to me right after the experience.
All of this is funny, because this album, or this part of the album, isn't exactly religious. But it is beautiful, and this kind of music is certainly a gift from God. Kate Bush is surely blessed with a beautiful ability. Listen to it.
