What Exactly are the "Middle Ages"?

Did you know that history is divided into three broad and general categories?

1. Ancient (Before Christ to 476 AD)
2. Medieval (476 AD to 1453 AD)
3. Modern (1453 AD to Present)

The way we are normally taught history is that shortly after the fall of the Western Roman Empire the world entered an era known as medieval period literally medi "middle" + -eval "ages" or the "middle ages". Historians tell us in brief that the Middle Ages act as a bridge which connects the ancient world with our modern day. Sounds great on the surface but is this really true? And more importantly does the Word of God support such a view of world history?

While it may come as a surprise to many, the dates of world history cannot be determined without the Word of God. The simple explanation to this is that many nations simply did not learn their letters until long after their peoples had been founded, and as a natural consequence did not put their histories into writing. To put this into a big picture perspective let's look at the 6 World Empires mentioned by the Bible:

1. Egypt
2. Assyria
3. Babylon
4. Medo-Persia
5. Greece
6. Rome

Now let's trace the etymology of the word alphabet. Many give the misnomer to our letters the English Alphabet while being wholly ignorant that the letters are Latin or from Rome; the true English letters are actually called runes which derive their origins from Norse mythology where Odin learned of the runes and their magical powers when he went to Yggdrasil "Tree of Terror" and hung himself from it for 9 Nights in order to learn the runes and gain power from the knowledge they contained. The Norse people simply adopted the Latin alphabet after adopting the Roman customs.

The Romans then took their letters from the Greeks, and this is not surprising as their origins go back to Romulus who was descended from Aneas who fled from Troy after it was burned down by Agamemnon in the Trojan War. Now though the Trojans could speak Greek and Greek pottery and other like things have been discovered at Troy, they shared a closer tie to the Hittites whose language shared a common origin; and, this is no suprise for the Trojans, Medes, Greeks, Romans, and all Western seafaring lands all share Japheth as their common ancestor. The Persians descend from Elam, and the Assyrians descend from Asshur who are all from the line of Shem from whom the Hebrews also descend from. Ham is the ancestor of Nimrod who founded Babel which would later be called Babylon and Chaldea by the Greeks; Egypt got it's modern name from their pharaoh Aegyipticus, but they descend from whom the Hebrews call Mitzraim who is also from the line of Ham.

Going back to the word alphabet let's trace the where it comes from by looking at the 6 World Empires:

1. Egyptian: "A" is a Vulture hieroglyph {ah-} "B" is a Foot hieroglyph {buh}
2. Assyrian: "A" is alap "B" is beyth
3. Medo-Persian: "A" is alef "B" is be
4. Greece: "A" is alpha "B" is beta
5. Rome: "A" is A {ei-} "B" is B {be-}

Not only do we see that all of these alphabetical systems have very closely linked phonetic sounds for the letters "A" and "B" we also see that the Romans, Greeks, Persians, and Assyrians are nearly identical to the Hebrew letters aleph and beyt, but how dow we determine which of these is more ancient? If we look at the three sons of Noah Japheth, Shem, and Ham one might be inclined to say Japheth since he is the oldest son of Noah, however when we look at all of the names prior to the Tower of Babel we see that they are all Hebrew in origin. Why is this so since Heber--the ancestor of the Hebrews--would not be born until after the Flood? How do we prove this? When we go back to creation we see that God gives the name Adam to the first man and progenitor of mankind: this is a Hebrew name therefore the language God spoke to the first ten generations was in Hebrew; and from here God would speak in Hebrew to Shem, Heber, and Abraham whom the Scriptures first call the Hebrew: therefore from this evidence it is not hard to believe and understand why the Assyrians and Babylonians have nearly identical sounds and letters to the Hebrew aelphbeyt:

As we can see from Scripture and a comparison of the various alphabets that Hebrew is truly the oldest alphabet and language in the world. All of the alphabets following Hebrew virtually preserved the order of the Hebrew letters.

With the above evidence in mind we are forced to reexamine our definitions and lengths of ancient and modern, for the ancient Hebrews spoke Hebrew just as the modern Hebrews do to this day, so what exaclty lies in between these two concepts of time? Absolutely nothing! So, how can we use the Bible to help us put numbers on ancient and modern? If we begin with Adam, the first man, he died at 930 Years old and marks the 1st Millenium of the world: therefore we can say that which is 1,000 Years or older are considered ancient; and, that which is 1,000 Years or younger is considered modern. How much time has passed since Adam to our modern day then? The answer depends on who you ask and which of the biblical manuscripts they follow, and if they believe that the Second Coming of Christ has a knowable appointed time:

Creation to 30 AD

1. Septuagint/LXX (5,500 Years from Adam to Christ's Death)
2. Masoretic Text (4,034 Years from Adam to Christ's Death)
3. Rabbinic Judaism (3,791 Years from Adam to Christ's Death)

According to the Word of God Yeshua will return 6,000 Years from Adam, some simple arithmetic and common sense will show the following...

Time Between Second Coming and 30 AD
6,000 Years - 5,500 Years = 500 Years (Septuagint/LXX doesn't support Middle Ages)
6,000 Years - 4,034 Years = 1,966 Years (Masoretic Text supports Middle Ages)
6,000 Years - 3,791 Years = 2,209 Years (Rabbinic Judaism supports Middle Ages)

After having already proven that Hebrew is the oldest language and alphabet why is it that we have three conflicting ancient dates? Furthermore the last two dates not only support the theory of the Middle Ages as actually happening, but they also support the notion that ~2,000 Years have passed from the death of Christ to our modern day. However it is clear from a historical and chronological comparison that this cannot be true:

1. -284 BC (Septuagint)
2. 160 AD (Rabbinic Judaism)
3. 700 AD (Masoretic Text)

Our source text for the Septuagint translation is the Letter of Aristeas written during the reign of Ptolemy II in -284 BC. Our earliest witnesses to this story are two prominent Jews, Philo of Alexandria (c. -25 BC to 50 AD) and Flavius Josephus (c. 25 AD to 100 AD) which would make the LXX already 334-384 Years old at their deaths. Prior to these times the Law was given to Moses on Mount Sinai according to the ancient Hebrew records in the year 3919 AM/-1551 BC, which means the Word of God--which we know as the Old Testament today--was already 5,186 Years old by the time we reach 5186 AM/-284 BC, but 5,570 Years old in the year 5570 AM/100 AD in which Josephus died; and, 60 Years after his death--90 Years after the destruction of the Second Temple--we see Jose Ben Halafta already diverging away from the ancient tradition passed down by Moses and the Prophets by changing the date of creation from -5470 BC to -3761 BC. What exactly could've prompted such an unholy and wicked act from God's chosen people!? 130 Years prior to the Seder Olam being compiled the Jewish people had crucified Yeshua the Messiah of the World and the Son of God on the cross in 30 AD. It comes to no suprise then why we see many of the Church chroniclers moving further away from the ancient date of creation set down by Moses from God: because the opponents of Christ wanted to hide His first and Second Coming...and the only adversary who could move such people to evil is none other than the Enemy of enemies...Ha Satan "The Enemy" for as John tells us:

"And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”

And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she *was nourished for a 1 year and 2 years and half a year, from the presence of the serpent. And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth. So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus."

And when exactly did this war of Satan begin against mankind?

"And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, Cursed are you more than all cattle, And more than every beast of the field; On your belly you will go, And dust you will eat All the days of your life; And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise you on the head, And you shall bruise him on the heel.”

To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth, In pain you will bring forth children; Yet your desire will be for your husband, And he will rule over you.”

Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life. And what was the question posed by the Serpent?

"Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”

So when the corrupt Jewish authorities couldn't refute the early Church who were using the LXX to refute and convict them of crucifying Christ: they hid like serpents in their cave secretly changing the Word of God; during this time they also stirred up rebellion among the people against Rome which led to the destruction of the 2nd Temple by Titus in 70 AD. From here they secretly began using the Roman Emperors to persecute the early church while subtly promoting the idea that Yeshua was not prophesied to die 5,500 Years from Adam, and like their father the Devil they asked the question:

"Did God really say that Yeshua would die 5,500 Years from Adam?"

And when the Church replied, "Yes because the Scriptures say so", the Jews countered by saying, "No that's not true because you can't read Hebrew and the LXX is written in Greek". For if God truly said that then you would be living in the last days, but according to His Word which we have preserved it only shows 4,034 Years have passed from Adam to the death of Yeshua: therefore He cannot be the Messiah or the Son of God. Therefore we still await the first coming of the Messiah whom Moses promised us." Not knowing how to refute this the Church slowly fell for these deceptive words as Eve did in Eden and partook of the forbidden fruit: therefore man has struggled in either using the definition God has given for good and evil, or defining good and evil on our own terms.

In closing the Middle Ages never happened. This phantom period was fabricated by Satan who used his wicked angels to move men everywhere to take part in his wicked schemes, and those who were not part of it took the bait unaware. The antiquity of the Hebrew language and the Hebrew Scriptures are proof of this, because they show that 5,500 Years have passed from Adam to the death of Yeshua on the cross. Why do you think Jews and Christians were both attacked by the Enemy and moved to turn against one another? It is simply following that old military axiom:

"Divide and conquer"

Therefore if Satan can divide you from God then he can conquer you by manipulating history and the Word of God so that your understanding of the present time is nothing short of a lie. Sadly many people are prophesied to fall for this even after seeing Yeshua face to face in the Millenial Kingdom...the question is...do you want to stay asleep in the Matrix and die in it, or break free and live forever?

Whatever the actual truth is it's clear we've been lied to pretty blatantly. Especially considering that there's very little archeological and historical evidence to support this so-called period, and on top of that it's well known that the Catholic "church" was fabricating many written documents, and supposed "holy relics" which were supposedly "ancient" but actually found to be written in the Middle Ages.
