WARWICK, Ga. — Emmanuel Lewis (search), the former child star of the '80s TV series "Webster," (search) got off with a warning for speeding after giving his autograph and posing for a photo with police, officials said.

Officer Ron Kirk said he stopped a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in rural southwestern Georgia that had been traveling 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. Kirk immediately recognized Lewis.

"Well, I grew up watching him and he was very nice and professional, so I just gave him a courtesy warning," Kirk told Albany TV station WALB.

I've gotten away with a simple warning many times. In fact every time I've ever been pulled over, I was simply issued a warning. I've never had a ticket in my life, but have been pulled over many times.

I have a friend who pulled over Cheech Marin, after chasing him for a couple of miles. He told me there was no way he could in good concious bust Cheech. Now Webster that's a different story. Espicially since now he does commercials for all those predatory Cash Call lending places.
