Isn't it interesting that while John the Baptist is in prison, look who is receiving Power to separate Jews from their relationship with the Devil . . .

Matthew 10:1, 8 NLT - "Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them authority to cast out evil spirits and to heal every kind of disease and illness." ... 8 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cure those with leprosy, and cast out demons. Give as freely as you have received!"

These Disciples, during the exact "Day" of John, were given the Power of Christ to literally cast the Light of Christ upon the darkness of death upon the Blessed Jews . . . and they rose from the dead.

In looking at the Power given to the Apostles, it shouldn't seem so inconceivable that John, who arrived with the spirit and Power of Elijah, the greatest to ever life, might have also been given Heavenly Power with his Baptism?

Matthew 21:25-26 NIV - "John's baptism--where did it come from? Was it from heaven, or of human origin?" They discussed it among themselves and said, "If we say, 'From heaven,' he will ask, 'Then why didn't you believe him?' But if we say, 'Of human origin'--we are afraid of the people, for they all hold that John was a prophet."

You know, in each of the Gospels, they're actually pretty short in their content. But it was said that all that Jesus said and did would be nearly unimaginable, yet we are supposed to be ponding this question just as Jesus positions it? Jesus asked the question, and He is speaking to us right here . . . today . . . regarding this message. Why would Jesus want us all . . . to stop and think about this question? Could it because of what I have offered? Is it possible?
