[Proverbs 14:18]; The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way but the folly of fools is deceit.
There are men who seek what God can do. There are those who seek how he does what he does. But there are those who seek to know why he does what he does the way he does it. The way of God is the why. It is the mind of God. It is different from his ways; the hows.
Understanding his ways is very vital for anyone who must stand in the place of judging matters. If you do not understand his mind, you might judge the lord foolishly.
That mind entitled Jacob the trickster to the blessing.It makes Rahab a grandmother to Christ. It afflicts Abimelech and Pharoah's house for Abraham's lie and it makes Peter with all his faults the rock on which church had to be built.
When you understand this mind by the patterns, you realise that it supercedes anything a man does. It is beyond works.
The Bible says that the purpose of God according to election had to stand, the children having not yet been born or done good or evil.
It is the same spirit by which he says that while we were yet sinners, Christ died.For herein is love, not that we loved God but that he loved us. The ultimate way of God is always love.It is the excellent way.
