They need to realise that it was their own actions that provoked the war and sit down with their Russian brethren and compromise.

Just like they "provoked" the 2014 invasion and illegal annexation of Crimea ?

Just like they "provoked" Russia into rotating more than 40,000 troops and intelligence personnel through the Donbas region in 2014 through 2020?

Or more like they "provoked" Russia into providing equipment, training and funding to 'separatist' forces?

Or like Russia was "provoked" into conscripting men into the DPR/LPR months before the 2022 invasion?

The bottom line to this thread is that Ukraine does not need any more weapons.
They need to realise that it was their own actions that provoked the war and sit down with their Russian brethren and compromise.
For its part, the West needs to rethink its role in the world.
The time of western hegemony thinking should be brought to an end in favour of global peace and a multi-polar global system.

Russia vetoes UN condemnation of its invasion of a sovereign nation. Russia becomes a totalitarian state to support a war that costs it hundreds of thousands of lives and billions of euros of equipment not to mention the loss of prime contracts in Europe. Ukraine defines itself in opposition to Russia and despite the strong historical ties becomes a nation because of the war. Maybe like the British and Americans after the Revolutionary War, they will eventually be friends again but it could take a hundred years. NATO grows in response now including Sweden and Finland and Ukraine now has special client status also. Yes, a rethink is required by Russia, not by Ukraine here.

How do provoke a country to invade you? Did Ukraine attack Russia? Did they launch missiles into Moscow? No. They wanted to join NATO, which didn't appear to be happening since NATO wasn't interested. This was a blatant invasion into Ukraine by Russia.

That being said, I don't think we ought to be sending anything to Ukraine. If Ukraine wants to buy things ftom.us like tanks or whatever, sure. Got no problem with that. But money? No. We are in massive debt as it is. And we are giving away money to forging nations? You have got to be kidding me. You know how much good here on our own soil that money would do?
