I have. I read "Jesus + Nothing = Everything" and appreciated its perspective. It's one of those books that can be taken out of context, or that some people could easily abuse, but that's true of the genuine gospel in every case.

I think, though, that in order to understand his writing you have to be a person who has been eaten alive by the emotional pressure of the idolatry of human praise. It is a natural human condition to desire to please people, but some of us have an addiction to it that results in serious emotional consequences. A person who has not experienced that heat may have a problem tracking what Tulian is trying to say.
