True Path To Salvation

The TRUE path to salvation is summarized in ONE verse: "He who BELIEVES and is BAPTIZED will be saved; but he who does NOT believe will be condemned" (Mark 16:16).

What should one BELIEVE in?

Jesus SENT his DISCIPLES to PREACH the gospel (Mark 16:15). Therefore, one must BELIEVE the gospel PREACHED by someone who is SENT by God or by Christ. The one SENT to PREACH the gospel must be a DISCIPLE of Christ. And a DISCIPLE of Christ (John 8:31) is one who BELIEVES in Christ (this means BELIEVING what Christ says - NOT what others say about him) and ABIDES in his words (this means OBEYING his teachings).

It is imperative to test whether the spirit that the preacher has is of God or not in order to make sure that the TRUE gospel is being preached. Believing a FALSE gospel does NOT lead anyone to the TRUE path to salvation.

Where should one be BAPTIZED and ADDED into?

Those who BELIEVED apostle Peter's preaching were ADDED to their group (Acts 2:38-41), in other words, the CHURCH (Acts 2:47).

Which CHURCH is this that those who BELIEVED were BAPTIZED into?

Apostle Paul admonished overseers (Acts 20:17) to "feed the church of Christ which Christ PURCHASED with his own blood" (Acts 20:28 Lamsa). Apostle Paul called members of the CHURCH, "churches of Christ" (Rom. 16:16).

What happens when one BELIEVES the TRUE gospel and is BAPTIZED into the TRUE Church of Christ?

1) You BECOME a member of the BODY of Christ because the CHURCH is Christ's BODY of which he is the HEAD (Col. 1:18).

2) You are delivered by God from the power of darkness and TRANSLATED (transferred) to the kingdom of His Son IN WHOM there is REDEMPTION through his blood, the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:13-14);

3) IN Christ (inside his BODY, the CHURCH), you RECEIVE redemption through his blood, the FORGIVENESS of sins(Eph. 1:7);

4) You are RECONCILED to God in the ONE BODY through the cross (Eph. 2:16);

5) There is NOW (today) no condemnation to those who are IN Christ (inside his BODY, the CHURCH), who do NOT walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Rom. 8:1); and

6) You are a CHOSEN generation, a ROYAL priesthood, a HOLY nation, God's OWN special people (1 Peter 2:9).

Getting SAVED from the wrath of God is as easy as one two three if one has a reverend FEAR of God and a SUBMISSIVE heart to HEAR the word of God and OBEY God's COMMAND to LISTEN to His Son (Matt. 17:5).

Yup, that's right, faith in Christ is the first and only step you need.

John chapter 3 clearly tells us that if you believe you are not condemned but made clean through Christ's atoining blood. Believe and be saved.

Unbiblical Beliefs
1. Vehemently oppose the Biblical revelation of the Triune God.
2. Believes in the absolute oneness of God the Creator in the Person of the Father.
3. Believes the Son as the literal Word (which has no pre-existence) who became man. He was given power by the Father to do supernatural miracles. He is not God.
4. Believes in an impersonal Holy Spirit, a power sent by the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is not God but one of the spirits sent by God.
5. Believes the Father (Creator) and Son (creature) must be worshipped. The Son must be worshipped because the Father says so.

it's the Church of Christ denomination, correct? i know very little of their beliefs, but all recent contact with their members, leads me to believe they are quite blasphemous. hopefully the members i've come in contact with are merely the minority of the denomination, and their doctrine doesn't really teach this.

Lizzi, "Iglesia Ni Cristo" is Tagalog, which is a blend of Spanish and indigenous filipino languages, I believe. "Ni" can mean "by" or "of", so "Iglesia Ni Cristo" can be translated as "Church of/by Christ".

God's Free Gift Of Salvation Is For Sinners Only

The outstanding characteristic of the Gospel of Christ is that it is only designed for self-judged, condemned sinners. The Gospel is only appreciated by those who realize their need. Christ Came to the Earth to Save Only Those Who Are Sinners

"They that are whole need not a physician, but they that are sick." (Matthew 9:12).



The Only People God Loves Are Sinners

The Only People Who Go To Heaven Are Sinners Saved By Grace
