My first reaction was, there has to be a serious faux pas; they have to mean 50 or 64 or something, but not 600+. Unfortunately, there is no mistake. A sad day indeed. I feel so bad for the Iraqi people, who have already suffered so much.
Wow. What a tragedy. I was also shocked when I heard the number of people killed. The main reason that so many were killed is because a railing collapsed on a bridge and caused hundreds of people to fall to their deaths in the river. At least that's what the CNN article implied.
Lord, help them and give them hope. Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for them.
Thats horrible. While the U.S. Suffers our tragedy it is important to remember other tragedies that have happened and pray for the families who have lost.
Just saw on the News where the death toll in Iraq might be as high as 1000. I feel for that country and pray that those who were injured make it through and that the families will continue to fight for their countries democracy.
Did you also here that someone was handing out juice and food around a mosque during the pilgrimage...poisoned juice and food. At least six people died
